Applicants should also possess the ability to dispatch truck for dray moves, understand the freight payment process, and file calculations for payables and receivables to balance operational files. The ability to prevent demurrage, detention, extra fees and charges is a plus, as well as showcasing excellent problem solving abilities for when things just don’t go right. 

If you live in San Antonio or are willing to relocate to the area, one client is hiring a production assistant. Located on the northeast side of the city near the San Antonio International Airport, applicants will work day shifts from 6am to 6pm and must be comfortable working weekends as well. The position requires previous experience as a lead, supervisor or production assistant as they will be assisting the manufacturing supervisor. Other responsibilities of the role include preparing productivity reports and machine hours, training new workers, and handling various projects within the company as needed. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to enhance their current skills and take on new challenges. 

Calling all warehouse experience, Staff Solve has one client looking for an individual that has experience working in a pipe yard. The position is a temporary role with the ability to hire full time, including a variety of benefits. The position is a day shift role that will come with overtime periods and weekends. Starting at $17-18 per hour, the position is open to more depending on experience. General responsibilities include order picker, 5K forklift operator, reach-truck operator, place on pallets, shrink wrap and shelves, saw shop activities, and other various projects as needed.  

For all applicants that are well versed in accounting, this may be a great opportunity for you! A company east of the downtown Houston area is looking for a full-time accounting clerk. Benefits include medical and weekly pay and a salary range of 45-50K, with the possibility of consideration depending on experience. Quickbooks experience is preferred, but must be able to handle A/P, A/R, and invoicing. 

Have experience as a laboratory technician? A client in the Spring/North Houston area is looking for a temp to hire with full benefits. The pay range is $20-23 per hour, but depending on experience, is negotiable. Major responsibilities include safely and consistently operates rubber processing equipment such as mills, curing presses, rheology equipment, tensiometer, etc., specifications and work instructions. Technicians should also be able to organize and record processing and testing data and occasionally write reports. Applicants should be able to recognize abnormalities in lab results and suggest alternatives based on their experience, and proactively work to improve consistency of test results.

Lastly, one client in the North Houston/Spring area is looking for a CMM Programmer. Depending on experience, the pay range is $18-21 per hour and is a temp to hire role with excellent benefits. The position is day shift but does require periods of overtime including weekends. Interested candidates should be able to create CMM programs to inspect products to their proper specifications, conduct data analysis from CMM inspections, approve or reject products and writes a report of inspection and testing results, and prepare labor card(s), job ticket(s), and other reports, forms, records and related paperwork for assigned area.
